Welcome To The Pigsty!

I recently rented a bedroom and a private bathroom to a guy named Mike. He is perhaps 5'7 and Cajun, but a ruthless little grunt (check out the bathroom... ew)! He lived here for 3 months. Each month his rent check would bounce, and he would have to write me another. He never lifted a finger to help out around the house, even though I had just gone through surgery for a broken neck. He never contributed to household expenses (how much are paper towels... 99 cents?), and he would take the trash out only if I complained about it, and even then I had to occasionally pay someone else to do it. His toilet bowl was a work of art, and he always left both seats up for all to view. Not once was it cleaned in all the time he lived here, until the day he moved. He was a mama's boy, ya see... and he lived like a pig. I don't think I ever once saw him change his sheets, but I could be mistaken. In any event, he quit his job and decided to move his business into his bedroom and work out of my home, without even asking (I rented him a room, not an office, and common sense would dictate that he ask whether or not I minded). I asked him to move, which he did. I gave him $500.00 of his $600.00 security deposit, after he "cleaned" both rooms. I was in a hurry to get him out, and I'm afraid I didn't look as closely as I should have (I just wanted him OUT). He is now badgering and threatening me on a daily basis for the remainder of the deposit. What do you think... should I give it to him? YOU decide.
