Having your own web site means two things. You must first have the content for the site, basically the graphics, sounds, text, etc that you want people to see, and secondly you must have space on a web server to host your content.

I specialize in designing the content for your web site by providing energetic and striking multimedia content and eye-catching layouts. I prefer to work closely with my clients to find the most information on what they want so that I can better provide it to them. You can be as detailed or as general as you like when discussing your vision for your web site. I'll make it happen just the way you want. My goal is for us both to have fun making the site and be happy about the final product.

I charge a flat rate of $40 an hour that I work on your site (not including discussing it with you!). This includes the time spent creating the original site as well as any furture changes or updates if you're interested in later modifying your site. In general, a very basic personal site will take about five to six hours to create, so you're looking at around $150 to $200 for the web site content. If you wish to have more elaborate content for your site, such as java special effects or cgi-bin programs (i.e. guestbooks, hit counters, etc.) I will need to spend more time on your site and you will therefore be charged more. I will supply a written estimate prior to beginning upon request if you have concerns about this. I want to make sure we're both comfortable with it*

If you have your own web space already available, I can simply send the final web site content to you and you will take over from there. This means you're responsible for uploading the content to your web server, making sure it's configured correctly if you have special effects, and for its on-going maintenance. If however, you do not have your own web space for your site, I can offer you several options for hosting.                                                                                                                                                     

Web Hosting Selection: This is the cheapest option and best if you're comfortable or have experience in hosting a web site. I keep constantly abreast of the best deals and most reliable web hosting companies available in the market and will recommend a company based on price, performance, and your site's needs. I charge a one-time fee of $25.00 to make my recommendation and you are responsible for all hosting charges as well as uploading the site content and maintaining the site.

Sub-Domain Hosting: This is a middle option where I will handle all the technical details for hosting the site, but your site will not have its own unique domain name. If you don't care about having a unique domain name, this is a good way for you to save some money. The URL for your site will look like www.lizybordom.com/yoursitename instead of www.yoursitename.com. On average I charge $5.00 - $10.00 a month for this option, depending on the size of your site. I will give you a final estimate after discussing your site with you.

Domain Hosting: This is the most expensive option, but you don't have to worry about a thing. I handle all the setup, configuration, and maintenance for your site which has its own unique domain name (www.yourdomain.com). If you don't have a domain name registered I can assist you with that as well. On average I charge $10.00 - $20.00 a month for this option, again depending on how elaborate your site is. There may also be a one-time setup fee for the initial configuration. I will give you a precise estimate for your site when we discuss what kind of web site you want.
